From my series of cardioid ink drawings. CADENCE is created from four sets of overlapping figures. Each figure is composed of over fifty individual lines plots. The cardioid figure was named after the Greek word for heart as the geometric form resembles a heart shape. I chose four sets of figures as a nod to the four chambers of the heart.
